Ruger MK I, MK II, MK III, MK IV, 22/45 22lr Pistols
Short, Long, Slab Side, Fluted and Bull Barrels - Black or Stainless
(No LITE Versions)
Smith & Wesson, Beretta, Glock, Taurus, and more.
(No Browning Nomad pistols, only some of the Buckmark.)
We can only thread a semi-auto pistol barrel if it is longer than the slide.
We have no way to add length to a barrel. We do not do any internal threading or barrel extensions.
No Revolvers.

This is a service offer to thread your barrel.
The photos are examples of our work.
We thread your barrel to the thread pitch and barrel length requested. The process is single point threading on a commercial lathe, concentric to the bore.
Typical thread size is 1/2"x28 for 22lr & 9mm, .578x28 for 45 cal, Other thread sizes are available.
A custom thread protector is included for all barrels.
Send us just your barrel/receiver if possible, but we will accept complete guns.
Complete guns or extremely heavy or large items, may require additional shipping fees.
We ship to US states, except where prohibited by law. No sales to CA, HI or NY.

Turnaround time varies based on current workload, but will usually be finished and shipped within 14 business days from the day we receive your barrel. If you would like to confirm the current turnaround time, please feel free to contact us prior to your purchase.
If you are in the Dallas - Ft Worth TX area, you may drop off / pick up your barrel.

Talked to Dan a couple of times on the phone to make sure he could do my BuckMark Camper. Could have ordered a TacSol barrel but wanted my original barrel. Shipped it off on a Tuesday, had it back Thursday of next week. Stellar work for a great price. Highly recommend his work. Thank you Dan!

I had my Ruger MKII cut& threaded for a Dead Air Mask suppressor and Grumpy Knocked out of the park, no I'm working on a break action rifle that I will have him cut & thread as well to make the 45-70 a little quieter with a Dead Air Primal. thank you Grumpy for your dedication to the 2nd and great work.

I sent Grumpy's my Ruger Mark IV Target bull barrel for threading and moving the front sight. I talked to Dan to discuss the process and found that he is a VERY knowledgeable man with years of experience. The work on the threading and the sight is AWESOME! It looks like a factory threaded barrel... and the total turnaround time was less than a week! I would definitely recommend Dan for this service. Had my fluted barrel threaded, Grumpy's did a great job. Not only is it functional and shoots well, looks like it came straight from the factory. Great job matching everything up for that finished look. would highly recommend to others.
